I first saw this guys through Nathan Barnatt Hungry Eyes" from the new M&M commercial) when he made a video for "Yelle's "Que Veux Tu" (Madeon Remix). I loved the song but I didn't really think much of his other stuff, until I watched Madeon's live pop mash-up on Wimp.com. I fell in love with his work all over again. Taking something and making it new and refreshing is never and easy task.
If you like electro-pop or even just remixes I suggest checking this guy out. He has got some fun songs and some serious talent.
Here are my top three songs from Madeon:
Pop Culture
Shuriken
Que Veux Tu
Check out this awesome artist and lemme know what you think of him.

Awesome Artists: Pogo
So this week I bring you Pogo. Who is perhaps one of the most brilliant and clever artists on Youtube.
Here is a brief about me from Pogo:
"My name is Nick Bertke, better known as Pogo. I'm the chap behind such movie remixes as Alice, Upular and Skynet Symphonic, and I've spent so much time making music that it's now all I do with my life. I have worked for major studios including Disney Pixar and Showtime, found myself in the Wall Street Journal, performed for YouTube Play at the Guggenheim Museum, and have managed to share my music with over 11 million people on YouTube to whom I owe everything for their overwhelming love and support. It's my ultimate goal to share my music with the world, and I'm eternally grateful to everyone who has tuned in!" -Pogo's Youtube About Me
His talent lies in his ability to take sounds from movies and masterfully meld them together into calming almost etheral songs. It is hard to pick a top song to listen to. They are equally amazing, funk filled remixes of classic, well loved movies.
It did get him into some trouble with Disney, who used their power to shut his mouth and have him profesionally produce music for them for a year. Binding him within the law from doing what he loves. Though he is free now, who know what they, or any other corperation for that matter may try to do.
So his music is world and I emplore you the reader to check him out and comment, fave and subscirbe on Youtube and follow him on his site. (links provided after the video)
Here is a taste of his genius:

Happy Turkey Day
This might be a bit early but, this song has been a tradition for my family since I was born. Each Thanksgiving at noon we play this song and sing together. Even when my father and I were away on one of my field hockey trips, we'd get a call and we'd listen to this majestic song. "Alice'e Resturant" by Arlo Guthrie. It is a classic, funny family song that I am goingto share with you.
So, this Turkey day Around noon, drop by and watch the video below and sing along with me and my family.

Check This!
Found this a while ago... Check this.
Listen to the lyrics, if you don;t like what you hear. Educate yourself and listen again. No one wants to hear the negative side but you can't ignore it forever once it's been revealed.
